For the second consecutive year, Florida State's spring game featured the Garnet squad upsetting Gold. This year's game ended with a score of 35-20.

Starting quarterback E.J. Manuel saw almost four full quarters of action. Manuel struggled for much of the first half. The offensive line failed to give Manuel a lot of time to work, as well as limiting the running game. The quarterback resorted to many outlet passes.

Both starting defenses performed exceptionally well, as neither team compiled more than 165 yards of offense within the first half.

The Spring Game was the longest in the history of Florida State football.

The No. 3 seeded Florida State Seminoles were given a first-round bye in the ACC Tournament Bracket. The Seminoles were faced with the winner of the Miami Georgia Tech game.

When Miami (FL) prevailed, the Florida State Seminoles looked to pick up their first win of the tournament. The Seminoles downed No. 6 Miami 82-71. The Seminoles moved on to play No. 2 Duke.

The Seminoles prevailed once more, this time by a score of 62-59.

The No. 3 Florida State Seminoles were a slight underdog in the championship game, playing No. 1 North Carolina. The Seminoles rose to the challenge, winning 85-82.

The Florida Seminoles football team defeated Notre Dame 18-14 in front of a sellout crowd at Florida's Citrus Bowl. The fan support was amazing as the Seminoles had to rally from a 14-point second-half deficit.

The Seminoles offense finished the game with 290 yards, but the defense was the real star sacking the Notre Dame quarterbacks four times and intercepting three times.

Seminoles Coach Jumbo Fisher said, "I'm proud to coach this football team, our team has special character about it."

Deion Sanders, former Florida State University two-time consensus All-American cornerback, has been selected for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. The 2011 class will be inducted in ceremonies in New York City on December 6.

Sanders signed a baseball contract with the Atlanta Braves prior to his senior year in football and eventually played in the 1992 World Series with the Braves hitting .533 despite playing with a broken bone in his foot. Deion Sanders played in two Super Bowls one each with the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys.

Sanders will be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame this August in Canton, Ohio.

EJ Manuel's days as a Florida State backup QB appear to be finished. Manuel threw a fourth-quarter touchdown pass to stop a South Carolina rally and lead the Seminoles to a 26-17 victory in the Chick-fil-A Bowl.

Manuel took over after senior QB Christian Ponder left early in the second quarter with a concussion.

The Chick-fil-A Bowl named the ACC Atlantic Division Champion, Florida State, and the SEC East Division Champion, South Carolina, to play in the 2010 Bowl Game on December 31st in Atlanta, Georgia. The game time is TBD.

The Florida Seminoles, who are heading to the post-season, finished their regular season at 9-3. Their 2010 season was a success with the win over the Florida Gators in the last game of the season being in the icing on the cake.

The Florida State Seminoles downed the Florida Gators 31-7 in the final game of the regular season for the Seminoles. The win over the Gators put an end to the six-year losing streak plaguing the Seminoles. The win over the Gators will be followed by a trip to the Atlantic Coast Conference championship game.

Florida State QB, Christian Ponder, worked hard in the Florida game, throwing for 221 yards and three touchdowns in his final game at home. The Seminoles locked in the game with a 21-point second quarter, taking a 24-7 lead at halftime. Their score progressed to 31-7 for the win.

First year Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher was as ecstatic as the players and fans of the Seminoles when the news broke that the Seminoles were heading to the ACC Championship game. The Seminoles kicked-off against Big 10 team Wisconsin Badgers in the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida on December 27^th.  It might as well been a home game for the Seminoles who creamed the Badgers 42-13 -YEAH!

Week 3 - The Seminoles suffered a heartbreaking 3-12 loss to Wake Forest without giving up one single touchdown, but they didn't score one either. One of the best defensive games of the season in the entire country.

Week 9 - Florida Seminoles hosted Clemson Tigers on coach Bobby Bowden's Birthday. A crowd of more than 75,000 serenaded Bowden with a rousing version of "Happy Birthday" in the final moments of the game and a very "Happy" day it was after the Seminoles grabbed the Tigers by the tail with a 41-27 victory.

Final Regular Season Game - Battle for the Governors Cup. Florida Gators chomped up the Seminoles 45-15 dominating the intrastate rivalry...we'll get ‘em next year!
